AI titans Microsoft and Nvidia reportedly had a standoff over what server racks were to be used for Microsoft’s newly acquired B200 GPUs. Microsoft won the fight and will use its own custom racks that can be adapted to Nvidia’s competitor’s GPUs if needed, rather than Nvidia’s proprietary solution.
